Question for Rick Scott:

Rick Scott - you continue to promote charter schools, to the point that it is to the detriment of public schools. How can you justify this when Charter schools had an FCAT failure rate 740% higher than that of public schools? You clearly think FCAT scores are very important, as you signed legislation into law that in large part determines teachers salaries on these high stakes tests. Your whim that charter schools are somehow inherently superior appears to lack any basis and you are damaging public schools in the meanwhile. Do you not care about public education or do you simply prefer education methods that are less effective?
