Iran's uranium enrichment push draws fresh sanctions calls Print

Iran has formally told the United Nation's atomic watchdog it will begin producing higher grade nuclear fuel and it is inviting UN inspectors to monitor the process. In response, the US and France have been leading calls for what would be a fourth round of international sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme. Tehran says it is frustrated because of what it calls the unwillingness of the US and its allies to consider amendments to a UN backed nuclear fuel proposal. Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri reports from the Iranian capital. (09 Feb 2010)
